Indies First is a year-round campaign in support of independent bookstores by authors and publishers. Sherman Alexie came up with the idea for writers to support their local indie by volunteering to work at the store on Small Business Saturday in 2013. We’ll have local author Susan Colleen Browne on hand from 1-3pm, to sign copies of her books, Little Farm in the Foothills and Little Farm Homegrown, and talk about her favorite reads this season. Saturday, November 24, is the day to shop small for Small Business Saturday. Support your local, independent businesses so that we can continue to support our community (that’s you, by the way)!
