On Saturday, September 9, the Jansen Art Center will be hosting an Open House for the Kids Do Art! program! The Kids Do Art! Fall Open house is an event at the J to give the families in the community an opportunity to DO ART! in each of our studios. Instructors and representatives will be on hand to answer questions about our programs and many hands-on activities will be in various studios throughout the building. Families are invited to stop by each studio (no dropping off your kids) and check out the space and the programs offered. At 12:30, Andy Koch will be returning to the Jansen Art Center for an entertaining puppetry and clowning performance up in the Chamber Hall. He keeps the whole room engaged in his humorous and fun presentation. Families can come any time between 11:00 – 3:00 and stay as long as they like – it is an open house format with no set schedule, other than Andy’s performance from 12:30 – 1:00. Some of the programs that will be highlighted during the Open House will be “Children’s Musical Theater”, “Group Piano”, “Preschool Music”, dance, painting, ceramics, and more.
