On Saturday, August 5th, 2017, we’re celebrating 5 Years at the J with an afternoon of Open Studios and evening Benefit Concert and Fundraiser. All our arts studios will be open to the public until 5:00PM, hosting sales, art displays, sample classes, demonstrations, and more. There will also be food served throughout the day from the Brotha Dudes and La Gloria Tacos food trucks in the back alley, along with a beer and wine garden for attendees that are 21 and older. Starting at 5:00PM, we have a lineup of fun music, dancing, and celebration in the backyard of the J, starting with musician Checo Tohomaso and finishing off with the world-touring band, The Paperboys! At around 7:30PM, there will be announcements for the winner of our Gong Auction and the winners for our Raffle prizes.
